You make a simple picnic or a trek of several days, the shoes we wear are definitely the most important thing, your feet will have to face our adventure in them, so they must be comfortable and protect them from weather and from unexpected events.
Of all the equipment a / a hiker’s shoes would be those that spend much of the budget, the ideal, but not for our wallets, it would have more types of shoes depending on the type of trip that you will to address:
- Easy hiking, shoes are the ideal low (below the ankle) there are several on the market recently with fanciful names often, even good ones designed for the sky-running
- Trekking and demanding hikes without snow, in this case it is advisable to wear boots at medium height (just above the ankle), preferably with Vibram soles and uppers of resistant materials such as, for example, who have undergone treatment and cordura waterproof. Even if you start with a beautiful day, the mountain can present surprises like sudden and violent showers or small fords to be addressed
- Snowshoeing in the snow, apply the same advice given for challenging hiking boots but it would be better to use high (well above the ankle).
Of course, if you have to buy one pair of shoes, boots are the ideal medium high, remember, however, that the feet kilograms weigh much more than those on the shoulders, it is useless to put on boots to make a simple glacier excursion.
